Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how glunty works, what is free, and how your data is handled.

Questions and answers

Is glunty free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use. There is no paid tier, no premium features hidden behind a paywall, and no advertising that interrupts the tool above the fold. AI-augmented tools have a generous per-IP daily limit; that is the only rate-limit on the site.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Nothing on glunty requires an email, phone number, or account. The tools work the moment the page loads. AI-augmented tools have a per-IP daily limit but no sign-in.
Where does my input go for AI-augmented tools?
AI-augmented tools forward the input you paste to Anthropic Claude for processing and return the response. glunty does not log or store the input. Anthropic processes it for the duration of the request under their data-usage policy (no training on API inputs by default). Each AI-augmented tool page has a more detailed FAQ on what gets sent.
Do the other tools upload my files or data?
No. Apart from the clearly labeled AI-augmented tools, every tool runs entirely in your browser. Files you compress, PDFs you convert, invoices and resumes you build, and text you process never leave your device. You can confirm it by opening DevTools and watching the Network tab: zero requests during tool use.
How do I embed a glunty tool on my site?
Every tool page has an "Embed this tool" section near the bottom that produces a copy-paste iframe snippet. The embed strips the site chrome via ?embed=1 so the tool runs cleanly inside your layout. Free for any use; attribution to glunty.com appears at the bottom of the embed body.
How do I cite a glunty tool in academic or technical writing?
Every tool page has a "Cite this tool" section with five standard formats: plain URL, Markdown link, BibTeX, APA 7, and MLA 9. Pick the format that matches your citation style and copy the snippet. The publication year is 2026; access date is left as a fillable placeholder where the style expects one.
Does glunty track me?
The tools run in your browser and do not profile you; only clearly labeled AI tools send anything to a server. glunty is ad-supported by a single Google AdSense unit below the fold, and AdSense may set cookies to serve those ads. You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com). Beyond AdSense there is no analytics SDK and no behavioral tracking; the privacy policy spells out the details.
