For parents

A free place where your child makes real things with AI - and learns to question and out-think it, not just consume it. Here is exactly how it works, and how we keep it safe.

The short version. Most kids meet AI as a machine that hands them answers. That builds a passive habit. glunty flips it: every lesson has your child make something, then interrogate it and make it better on purpose. They walk away with a finished thing they are proud of - and the judgment to tell good from generic. That judgment is the skill that matters as these tools spread.

How a single lesson works

Four moves, every time. The middle two are the ones schools rarely teach.

  1. 1 Make The child aims AI at one real thing they want to exist, and gets a first version fast.
  2. 2 Question They interrogate it. Is it generic? Wrong? Boring? What would make it truly theirs?
  3. 3 Improve They change it on purpose and see the result. This is where the real thinking lives.
  4. 4 Share They ship a finished thing they can show a person, and log the proof.

What your child actually learns

Not "how to use a chatbot." Each course ends in a real thing, and teaches real craft from the field it lives in.

Game Studio

Design and build a real, playable game - and learn the core loop, player feedback, and game feel.

Music Video

Write a song and cut a video to it - and learn rhythm, the hook, song structure, and cutting to the beat.

Comic and Story

Make a comic or story - and learn character want, story structure, and show do not tell.

Brand

Build a real brand - and learn audience, logo and color as voice, and visual consistency.

Study Lab

Turn AI into a tutor that actually teaches - and learn active recall, spacing, and the Feynman technique.

Across all of them, the same thread: aim the tool, judge the result, and make it truly yours. See the full course list.

Is it safe? Here is the whole picture

Short, honest, and checkable - open your browser tools and watch the network if you want to verify.

No ads in the kids area The whole ad system is off across the academy. Zero ad units, zero trackers.
No personal info needed to learn Progress saves on the device. No email or name required to start a lesson.
No open chat with strangers There is no direct messaging. The shared class wall is post-only and moderated.
Nothing your child makes is sold Their creations are theirs. We do not license, resell, or train on them.
Works fully without an account Sign-in is optional and grown-up-set, only to sync progress across devices.
Honest about AI limits Lessons teach where AI is wrong or generic, not that it is magic to trust.

What it costs: nothing

Free, with no sign-up wall, no watermark, and no locked features in the academy. glunty pays for itself with ads on the grown-up tools, which is exactly what lets the kids side stay free and ad-free. No catch, and we will say so plainly if that ever changes.

How you can help (10 minutes is plenty)

Ask to see it. Have them show you the thing they made and play or read it with them.
Ask why. "Why did you change that?" is the whole lesson, said out loud.
Let them get stuck. A wall is where the thinking happens. Resist rescuing too fast.
Praise the redo. Celebrate the second and third version more than the first.

Parent questions

Does this just let AI do my kid the thinking for them?
The opposite is the whole point. Every lesson has the child make something with AI and then question what they got and push it to be better. The skill we teach is judgment: spotting when an answer is generic, wrong, or not yet theirs, and knowing what to change. That is the human skill that matters more, not less, as these tools spread.
How old should my child be, and do they need to code?
It is built for ages 10 to 15, and no coding is required to start. Kids read at a fifth-grade level and follow along by doing. Lessons use plain language, one step at a time, and every step ends with the child having made a real thing they can show you.
Are there ads or trackers in the kids area?
No. The academy carries zero ads and no analytics trackers. The rest of glunty (the tools for grown-ups) is ad-supported, but the ad system is switched off entirely across the kids area. We do not build advertising profiles of children.
What information do you collect about my child?
By default, nothing that identifies your child. Progress is saved in the browser on the device. If you choose to sign in to sync across devices, that account is meant to be set up by a grown-up and stores only what is needed to save progress - no ads, no selling data, no location tracking.
Is it free, and what is the catch?
It is free with no sign-up wall, no watermark, and no output limits. There is no catch for the academy. glunty pays for itself through ads on the grown-up tools, which lets the learning side stay free and ad-free. If that ever changes we will say so plainly.
Can I see what my child is making?
Yes, and we encourage it. Everything your child builds is theirs to show you - a game, a song, a comic, a brand. The best thing you can do is ask to see it and ask why they made a choice. Ten minutes of that does more than any feature we could build.
