The answer is not the point
Copying an answer teaches you nothing. You feel productive and stay exactly as dumb as you started. Real learning is when you can rebuild the thing without looking.

It is a tool, not a buddy
AI is an axe, not a friend who does your chores. An axe does not fell the tree for you - it makes your swing land harder. You are still the one swinging.

Easy answers rot your brain
Every time you outsource the thinking, the muscle that does that thinking shrinks. Convenience today, helplessness tomorrow. Winners use AI to lift heavier, not to quit lifting.

Chase the why, not the what
Facts evaporate. Understanding sticks. Make it explain the reasoning under every answer until you could have derived the answer yourself.

Explain it back and get caught
The fastest way to learn is to teach it. Say the concept back in your own words, then tell the AI to hunt for every gap. Where you stumble is where you never actually understood.

Ask for the model, not the fact
One good mental model beats a hundred memorized facts. A model lets you answer questions you have never seen. Ask how an expert actually thinks about this, not just what the answer is.

Make it quiz you
Reading feels like learning and is not. You need retrieval - dragging the answer out of your own head. Tell it to test you and to withhold the answer until you have swung first.

Run at what confuses you
Your instinct is to skip the part that hurts. That part is the entire lesson. Confusion is a signpost pointing straight at the thing you have not learned - so go straight at it.

Build a ladder from what you know
Nothing is too hard. It is just too far from where you stand. Make it connect the new thing to something you already understand cold, and every leap becomes a single step.

A tutor that never sighs
You have a patient expert who will explain it the tenth time without judging you, at 3am, for free. That is the most absurd advantage in history. Most people waste it begging for homework answers.

Do not trust the warm glow
Following an explanation feels like knowing. It is not. Close the tab and rebuild it from scratch. If you cannot, you did not learn it - you watched it.

Verify anything load-bearing
It will state a confident lie with a straight face. For anything you plan to build on, check it against a real source. A tutor that is sometimes wrong is still gold - as long as you stay the one in charge.

You win when you stop needing it
Skill is the ability to do it alone. The whole point is to make the tutor unnecessary for this thing, so you close the loop and never have to ask again. Aim for that, not for the answer.
End every session with: 'Could I do this now with the tab closed?'
