Build a game world
Design a place your game or story really lives in, then turn it into an image prompt only you could write.
takes 8 seconds
Save your work, or lose it.
You can use everything without an account. Sign in to keep your progress on any device and post what you make to the class wall.

- Finish the step above first01
Dream up your place
Every game and every story needs a WORLD - the place it all happens in. A dripping cave, a candy city, a rusted spaceship, a haunted swamp.
Do not pick 'a forest.' Pick YOUR forest. What makes it weird or special? A giant sleeping robot half-buried in the trees? Glowing pink mushrooms taller than a house?
Type your place in a few words, and be specific.
- Finish the step above first02
Pick the feeling
MOOD is the feeling a place gives you the second you see it. The same castle can feel cozy, or creepy, or lonely.
Mood is a choice. You get to decide how a player should feel the moment they arrive.
Pick one or two feeling words for your world.
- Finish the step above first03
Set the light
Light changes everything. Morning sun feels fresh. A red sunset feels like something is about to happen. Moonlight feels secret.
Light can also come from stuff INSIDE your world - lava, neon signs, campfires, glowing eyes.
Pick your time of day and where the light comes from.
- Finish the step above first04
Choose your camera angle
PERSPECTIVE means WHERE you are looking from. It is your camera, and it changes how big and how real a place feels.
Some choices: a wide shot far away to show how huge it is, looking UP to make it feel giant, looking DOWN like a map, or standing right inside it.
Pick the view that makes your world feel the way you want.
- Finish the step above first05
Pick the ONE thing
A great scene has a FOCAL POINT - the one thing your eye lands on first. Without it, a picture feels like messy soup.
It could be a lone tower, a crashed ship, a glowing door, or a single tree on a hill.
Everything else is background. Pick your one hero thing.
- Finish the step above first06
Choose your colors
Colors carry mood. Warm oranges and reds feel alive or dangerous. Cool blues and purples feel calm or spooky. One pop of a bright color grabs the eye.
Pick two or three main colors for your world. This keeps it from looking random.
- Finish the step above first07
Add one tiny detail
Little details make a world feel REAL and lived-in. A world nobody touched feels empty.
Think small: laundry on a line, claw marks on a wall, a lost shoe, birds on a wire, cracks with weeds growing through.
Add one small telling detail that hints someone or something lives here.
- Finish the step above first08
Pick your art style
Style is the LOOK. The same world can be a soft watercolor painting, a sharp comic, cozy pixel art, or moody 3D like a big video game.
Your style should match your mood. Pick one.
- Finish the step above first09
Open Leonardo and name it
Time to build it for real. Open Leonardo - a free tool that turns your words into pictures.
Make a free account if you need one, then find the Image Generation box where you type a prompt.
While it loads, give your world a name. A name makes it yours.
Open Leonardo (new tab) - Finish the step above first10
Try a quick test shot
Do not dump everything in yet. Good builders test first. Copy the short prompt below and paste it into Leonardo.
This only uses your place, your mood, and your light - just the vibe. Press Generate and look at what comes out.
This is your warm-up. You are checking the feeling before you build the full thing.
what will really happenOpen Leonardo (new tab)Leonardo gives you 4 images at once, and the first batch is a rough vibe check, not the final.
It often ignores or mangles small details and any written words, so do not expect it perfect.
The mood may come out different than you pictured - that is exactly why you test first.
wide cinematic game background, [idea], [mood] mood, [light], no text, no logo, high detail - Finish the step above first11
Build your full world prompt
Now stack ALL your choices into one strong prompt. The page below builds it from your answers.
Copy the whole thing, paste it into Leonardo, and press Generate. Watch your world appear with its mood, angle, focal point, colors, detail, and style all working together.
Made it? Now make it MORE yours: change one word and generate again.
Open Leonardo (new tab)Do the steps above and your Your World Prompt shows up here.hold on - judge it, do not celebrate- Is this the world you pictured, or just the first thing Leonardo gave you?
- What is the ONE part that feels generic or off - the focal point, the colors, the mood?
- What would you change to make it more YOURS?
Did you generate more than once, or keep the very first image?
- Finish the step above first12
Ship it to the class wall
You built a world nobody else has. Time to show it off.
Save or screenshot your best image, then write a short caption using your world name.
Post it on the class wall with the tag #Glunty so everyone can visit your world.

You built a whole world.
You did not pull the lever for the same gray castle everyone else got - you stacked eight real choices into a place that is truly yours. Every game and every story needs a world, and now you know how to build one.
lazy vs yours
Anyone can type 'cool fantasy world'
Type 'cool fantasy world' into any AI and you get the same gray castle a thousand other kids got. Same slop. Not yours.
But you just stacked eight real choices: a place, a mood, the light, the angle, the one thing the eye finds, your colors, a tiny detail, and your style. Nobody has that exact mix. That is what makes this world YOURS.
